There have been a number of changes to the Shopzilla taxonomy. If you use Shopzilla, please read this as it might affect your products.

Although not a complete list of all of the changes, here are some of the most noticeable:

The major categories that have seen the most significant changes are:

· Babies & Kids

· Clothing & Accessories

· Home & Garden

· Office Supplies

· Sports Equipment & Outdoor Gear

Several categories have also been subdivided, as well as removed:

· The category “Blinds & Shades” has been split into “Window Blinds” and “Window Shades” , and related categories, “Window Scarves”, “Window Shutters”, “Window Valances” have been added.

· The category “Balloons & Teddy Bears” has been removed, and replaced with “Teddy Bears” . “Balloons” has been removed completely.

· The Dental categories have also been modified and expanded.

This new taxonomy will allow you to categorize your items in a manner that is more targeted, which could allow your products to be placed more prominently.

FeedPerfect has been updated with these changes, and allows you to take advantage of the cleaner, more targeted categories, but the rest is up to you!

Your present categorization will allow your products to be displayed on Shopzilla. However, it is highly recommended that you take a look at the new and updated categories for your items by reviewing the Shopzilla taxonomy, and at your earliest convenience, take a few minutes to login to FeedPerfect and update your Shopzilla categories.

FeedPerfect will be removing the old and outdated categories in about 30 days in order to keep the system up to date, accurate and as performance-optimized as possible.
